The Book Club

Keen to share their passion for reading, RPM Ambassadors Nicholas Lambrou and Himanshu Jain had the brilliant idea of starting a Book Club on project management and combining it with contexts such as history, ethics, achievement, mega projects, complexity, project leadership and Responsible Project Management.

For those unfamiliar with the concept of a book club, the idea is to read a selected book and then come together to discuss the ideas, contents, interpretations, relevance … indeed the conversation can go in any direction that participants wish. However, what I love about this book club is that you don’t need to have read the book in advance because the sessions begin with an overview.

Virtual Leadership: Practical Strategies for Getting the Best Out of Virtual Work and Virtual Teams

Author: Dr Penny Pullman

Publisher: Kogan Page

“A joy to read while forced into the virtual world.” (Lambrou)

This is the first book we have chosen. So start reading (or listening) and remember you come to a book club with a glass of your favourite tipple … or is it a bottle.
